sdi 1000 bogs out when on a wheelie

if i rip up a decent drift and stand it up on its back wheels is bogs out and comes back on when the angle of the sled drops back down. what causes this? fuel pressure?

Fuel pickup

There was a problem with the fuel pickup being mounted at the front of the tank when the sleds were first introduced which came to light mountain riding. I am assuming you are riding the flats and the fuel pickup was never repaired on the sled that you are riding.

I'd say yer into your rev limiter. It is right at 8200 so if you are clutched close, when you come out of the snow she over revs and the computer shuts er down.

I just come out of her a bit when jumping to avoid it...:D

Does it doo this when your fuel tank is low on fuel? It could be that the high pressure sump is running out of fuel due to a defective low pressure fuel pump. Try filling it up to the top of the cap and see if the symptom goes away. I realize it'll be harder to wheelie with a full tank. These low pressure pumps are turning out to be the cause of huge issues.

ive got the electric fuel pump mounted to the battery on this thing. it happens when i climb a drift real fast and point the skis to the sky real quick like. if im climbing a hill and happen to wheelie while climbing, it doesnt do it. as far as i could tell the pickups are mounted on the upper side in mid saddle of the tank. its not low on gas. i ride the trees at tree line, either climbing in them or booning through them, hitting drifts and rollers, and doing moderate drops (nothing sick).

so whats the solution for the fuel issue stiffler? how do i check it. this sled is new to me by a mere 3 sundays. i missed the superbowl going to pick it up.

I have the same problem, how do I check the fuel pump pressure and what should it be at? Also what weights, springs, and gearing are you fella's using for around 6-800ft. Any recommendations on the Dynamo joe's clutch kit for this sled?
Cheers:beer;
