Scratchers

Slide some vacuum line over the scratcher where contacts the rail. Apply some super glue to the scratcher and slide the vac line back over it and let it dry. That's what I came up with on mine.

The Ice Storms reversibles come with a nice park hook bracket that mounts to existing hole.

Pretty much the best fix here!! They work better and they have the hangers to hook the arm, so no issues with the painted rails.

Same as above. Ski Doo scratchers have a nice hanger that bolts on each rail. They work better, are reversible and look better too. Worthwhile investment. I ran them on my 13 with 3" track last year. Reduced the running temperature somewhat and they put snow and ice further up on the rail/hyfax/track.

I used a zip tie to hold the piece of hose in place that comes on from the factory. Stayed on for 2 seasons now

I'm extremely anal when it comes to powder coating cause every sled gets some. Been using these eyelet bolts for years and never an issue.

I would recommend using stainless ones of coarse

I bought and installed the hanger that comes with the ski-doo scratchers. They are $16.00 with the bolts. Work great and takes less pressure to hang scratchers

I ran the Doo ones on two sleds last year. I will be putting those on my Axys as well. They work way better than Duraflexes that I used to run.

So I went to install a set of Ice Storms and it didn't go as planned.

The distance between the holes (IS to stock) is different by about an 1/8".

I'm going to have to slot the hole the end of the scratcher goes into to make it fit.

I also got a pair of the IS ski scratchers to try and was defeated on those as well. There doesn't seem to be anywhere on the Gripper ski to mount it without it interfering with the spindle. If anyone has a picture of it working please share it.

Have had to drill my Kmod rails to fit Ice Storms as well.
