I actually saved a few grand and picked up a new 08 154

I will say that the sled flat out rocks. Only 160+ miles and she keeps getting better.

First day was hero snow so it was perfect to put the first sixty miles on. The power is really smooth and just keeps coming.

Day two with 8+ fresh I was starting to get use to the chassis. It is a little different than the Rev and just takes a little adjusting so that I could flick it around. Stuck another 60 on it and had no issues. It is a sipper on fuel and oil and burned about 5-6 gallons the first two rides.

Day three 4 ft of fresh and I started to really open it up. The track hooks up like crazy and just when you think your done it keeps on going. It was choking out here and there in the deepest parts, but this sled is still bone stock with no venting (I'll fix that right quick).
35 miles and the fuel tank was empty!

I am still a getting use to the chassis and am not 100% confident on it like the old rev. I was really feeling sketch coming into jumps and could not hold the perfect lines I had visualized. But that day in the deepest pow sure helped change that!

Looking forward to the rest of the season and really seeing what this sled can handle.

well there you go...my 2 cents for what its worth

That's deep! Handles pretty good I see. Classic vid ending, but where's the Arm Pump. lol

haha..there was arm pump for sure.

I could not see thru that last turn and you would even get snow down your throat choking you out.

It was the shiznit though!

Looks pretty drhy! Is that the old wash ring that's darker near the edge? Roasted the cylinder too, rod, crank? $1000??

The pto piston is much better, I'm suprised that the mag is the one that deto'd. The pto ran hotter egts all time. Plugs aren't even tan at all, just needed less boost or more octane. Needs a new monoblock, and pistons. I'll get the old block re nicasiled later. Luckily where it seized, We just towed it out.

lol, I think I remember a day like that last year. Scuffed a piston too!

Ouch! try cleaning it up with acid? Who got the towing honors:face-icon-small-ton Little race gas insurance might have helped that turbo meltdown ;)

Too much crappy fuel out there. On a higher end mod 20% race gas wouldn't cost much down the road and it makes up for a bad tank of fuel. Smell's sweet too:D

McLOVIN!!!!!!!!!!

Where you been hiding! We will have to set something up for that weekend.

Oh ive been working and trying to get the sled lined out, having the same problem as last year with the reverse gear box so im just eliminating it with a solid jackshaft from the secondary to the chaincase, sure i wont have reverse but i never had it before i think ill live. I also had some lasik done so that took me out of the seen for 2 weeks but well worth it. Cant wait, my parts should be here friday or saturday and ill test ride it before my days off to make sure im ready to go. Looks like you guys are having a blast-love the xp! Hows the fire breathing dragon going? You gonna have here up and running by next weekend? How do you like your new to you doo kurt?

We're all riding the piss out our sleds, don't we all. :D I have been loving the power of the turbo. Gotta love it when you have to let off the throttle going uphill over some rollers. I should have parts on thursday and be up and running in 3 hours or so. Maybe less as I'll be putting it back together in the garage instead of the trailer. Actually we spent the day yesterday putting insulation in the roof, so it will be nice and warm. Now we need to work on the lighting part. Glad you got the lasic done, I can't imagine trying to ride with glasses. Where do you want to ride that w/e?

I was thinking SOCOHOJO up at RE. That way Kyle has no excuses...thats right were coming to you!
