SCC adventures..pics and vids

Got out with a few of the guys today from the SOCOCREW..lots of fresh powder..too bad the visibility was hit or miss....mostly miss.

I think this picture sums up the day..a little blowing snow..a little sun...and alot of powder!

fought the storm most of the day then tucked into the woods for food and fire

must of made someone happy because the sun broke for a little over and hour and we got some good riding . No sunny pics but will try and bust out some video tomorrow.

Avy danger was high with a lot of fractures and whomping. We played it kinda mellow and stayed off the big hills and bad slopes. We did drop in thru a drainage and have to come down a sketchy steep that half had already slid. Just stopping at the top almost made it go...sketchy!

looking down you can see the avy on the left and the fracture up top from the stop

More tomorrow!

How do you turn a $1000 ABS pack into a regular backpack?

Forget to replace the handle/cartridge after your preseason test! Doh..time to change the bong water...

Sunday was a great day of riding..sun was out all day. The temps were cold but with all the riding everybody stayed plenty warm. Will post up some video later.

Video from Sunday at WC

Avy danger was very high so we just stayed on the smaller hills and played in the trees. Fantastic day of riding for pre Xmas! :beer;

Boondock and Skibreeze should have grabbed a few pics?

The TD8 Dave has put together is almost totally dialed in and running strong! If it lasts the season it is going to be one sweet little set-up. I can see more and more of the nimble 2-stroke turbos in the future....

Looks good:D but the vid won't cache and I can't stream that much. Are there some settings for caching in photo-bucket?

Had a great w/e and didn't break any bones, or anything else for that matter. Sunday was freakin' awesome weather and snow. I had to run oxygenated fuel this trip and the midrange was def. too lean, so I did have to add fuel in the box. Loving the ride though. I took a few pics, but Curtis has the good ones and needs to post them up.

Treeline
SouthernColorado12-2021-08081.jpg

Great weekend! Saturday was cold, windy, and snowy but still found some good stuff. The snow was more set up then expected but no problems getting stuck still!!

Sunday was great except treeline didn't feel well at all. Rode about 60 miles each day. Skib sled is a nice in between of crazy power and reliability, should be a fun sled!

Snow snow snow coming!!!

Everyone's sled came back in one piece

Cool pics..

even from the pic your fun situtation looks like you had alot of outs? Who smoothly climbed out left? ;)

hahaha...thats cool it gave me some time to get my head straight ;) for the ride out.

Thanks again for help with the wrenching today :beer;
