Scared to ride my RMK

Last year about this time my 2011 RMK motor blew (around 1200 miles at the time).

Today I was out for a quick ride when a noticed the oil level light was on, so I stopped and check it. Oil was well above the fill line. Started it back up and I ran like crap, no power, low RPM. Got it back to my shop (only a about 100 feet) then it would not idle. It was idling so low the gauges died.

I checked the plugs they looked ok. They only have 10 miles on them, the last set fowled out.

This is very close to what she ran like last year before she stopped running totally. I've been looking at getting a RK Tek drop in kit, maybe it's time. Or should I get it running and trade her off before she dies on me again?

The oil fill light can trip from sitting at an angle for too long and probably not related. Your issue sounds most likely to be something simple like a bit of bad fuel making its way through the system. I had a similar issue last season on my '11 that cleared by the next tank of fuel. Its been fine since. Since you did foul a set of plugs it sounds like you're getting fuel but I do wonder about weak spark. A TPS sensor could be the cause but a little less likely. The thing to look for there is that it's snugged down and both screws are intact. From there, it's worth checking your wiring harness over for any wires that may have rubbed bare.

I'd give those plug wires a real close look, make sure they are fully seated. Then check the rest of your wiring harness.

I plan on looking at the power valves, TPS, and the reeds tomorrow.

I how it is something simple, but worried sense this is how it acted before it blew last year.
