Thank-you!!!!

Thanks to everyone who gave up a portion of their weekend to spend time in the SAWS booth! Your generosity is MOST appreciated! :D Special thanks to Powder Head for setting up the booth on Friday, and keeping it running flawlessly until the wayward traveller could return Saturday afternoon!!

Thanks to those who donated their hard-earned $$ to SAWS, by either buying a Ladies Ride Calendar, a wilderness bumper sticker, or by just dropping coin into the bucket. The total raised is $1,241. :cool:

Thanks to Brandy for donating Ladies Ride calendars to SAWS so that we could realize 100% profit from their sale - YOU ROCK!!!!!!! :p

Thanks to those who coordinated the Brad Story Sled Raffle (both getting the sled to Puyallup and making the raffle tickets available) and also to Brad Story for hanging out in the SAWS booth, generating interest and traffic.... even though you were one-upped by Miss June ;)

I'll let Susie give us an update on number of new members....

I too would like to say thank you to everyone involved with the SAWS booth at the WSSA Snow Show in Puyallup this weekend. Everyone did an awesome job setting up the booth and staffing the booth this weekend. I am very proud of all of you!

I would like to say thank you to:

WSSA for providing the SAWS a booth. :face-icon-small-coo

Karen (Miss July) and Steve (Miss July slave boy;-) for all your planning, setup/takedown, and staffing of the booth off and on both days. Steve set up the booth Friday night, as Karen was out of town. Good job Steve! :)

Todd and Susie (Miss June) arrived Friday night for the "Ladies Ride" calendar release party (which Marisa and I were able to attend), and then they spent most of Saturday and Sunday in and out of the SAWS booth, and they also brought their MAC to use for signup of new members. :beer;

Holly (Miss September - Tumblina) for not only helping out on Saturday, but coming back on Sunday (even though she was a little under the weather) and working the booth again, because we did not have enough volunteers. :D

Snojunkee, RTG and Ruffy for spending time in the booth Saturday. I don't know that I have met snojunkee and RTG, but thank you very much. :cool:

Brandy (Miss January) for the calendar donations with all proceeds going to SAWS. :p

Brad Story, Oregon Trail Sports (Michelle), Baker City Elks Lodge #338 and Klim for the sled raffle with proceeds going to SAWS. :face-icon-small-hap

To everyone that donated money to SAWS or provided product (Thunderstruck and others) that will benefit SAWS. Please let me know who all donated product to SAWS. :beer; :beer; :beer;

Take care,

Dave

I too want thank everyone mentioned above by Dave and Karen. I don't have the sign-up numbers available yet (a portion of them are on Tedd's computer en-route to Juneau, AK right now), but I will post them after they are tallied.

With respect to the numbers though, our presence at this show is more than a new member drive. It gives the OR & WA volunteers/reps a chance to meet our members face-to-face. I enjoy that part immensely!! :D It helps remind me why I volunteer. So, I want to thank all the members that took a moment to stop by and say hi!

As always, the frustrating part is those people who say they just aren't interested. :confused: Huh??? :confused: "Then what are you spending all that money on?" I just don't get it! <<insert scratching head guy here>>.

Many Thanks From the Bottom of My Heart :heart:

Thanks to all who stopped by and joined AND DONATED!!! I really enjoyed working the booth this year. Everyone I talked to joined except for one guy!!
It was great to put forum names with faces! Even met some of the NB crew.:eek: I had so much fun at this event.....wish I could go to Spokane....but I have to go to stupid work:rolleyes:.......
