I don't know about that, but I'm liking it so far!
I think the fact that she does come off as a average American will ring through with a pile of swing voters, and she has deffinately won the hearts of the conservative base.
With that said there have been an awful lot of people that have drank the Koolaide of Obama and will not even consider the other option. I didn't like McCain to start with and to tell the truth I'm still not sold on him, But Obama goes against 90% of my beliefs of what is right for this country so I was going to vote for McCain with personal reservations about what I thought was right. Now he is starting to show that he is listening to what people want (drilling for example) and has brought in a true conservative to bolster his base, she just so happens to be an extraordinary person and not a career politician and for someone in the political world, she's about as far from Washington DC both geographicly and philisophicly as it gets. Which happens to be one major thing that I believe we need right now.
I've thought about sitting out this election but after tonight..........I'M BACK!!!!!

I don't like the gender comment either, she hit pretty well on her qualifications tonight. Kinda refreshing she doesn't have 20 years insidership in DC....but she has played hardball in the trenches.
been listening to her on the news here for a few years now..that is how she is...very knowlegable and very very professional...I think those were for the most part her words....she is not your average milf.....

She's got experience with running a city, and a state from an executive branch aspect at least.
Oh and by the way she's on the ticket as VP. Obama is #1 on the ticket and has very little experience. Then he's backed up by Biden who's proven that he's a career politician azzhat. The #1 and #3 rated most liberal senators in the country, anti-gun, environmentalist, special interest pandering ticket. Not for me thankyou.
And the gender thing is just pizzing all the dems off because she does have something to back it up and is on the Rep ticket. She's pretty much the deffinition of everything the Feminists like except she's conservative both fiscally and socially.
