Sandpoint Snocross and Hillcross April 18th & 19th 2009

I have been gone at the Jackson Hillclimbs, here are some more details, alot has been covered here. You can run long tracks, the hill is steep, the classes will be 6-7-8-open stock,6-7-8-open mod,it will be a snocross start, 6-8 at a time, heats will be run and finals on sunday, the entry fee will be 35.00 per class ,you do not have to join MWR for this event,we are trying to keep it fun for everyone, registration will be at the Lake View Lodge at the main village Friday from 6-9 pm,if you can't make that be there at 8:30am Saturday morning at the MWR Trailer, there will be tech inspection before the race, make sure you have tether cords(that work) and also upper body protection,if you don't have a tek vest I am sure there will be other riders that may let you use theirs when they are not racing,Safety is very Important so check over your sleds good, and have the proper gear, most of you have it from Mt riding,if you have more questions please contact

Kind of interested in making the trek for hillcross. We are supposed to have a WSA hillcross race that weekend in Taylor Falls, MN but i'm guessing the snow won't hold up til then..

Any idea as to how many pros will be there participating or the size and difficulty of the track??? I need to make sure that it is worth it and there is money to be made before I can make the jont!!

Thanks!
Newgard

Do you know what the track is going to be setup like?

Are we racing to the top of that run, or just a ways up? (its like a 1,200 vert. feet climb)

How many heats are we going to run?

Thanks

thats what i was thinkin but i dont have the stock can, when i bouht the sled i had the harley can on it.

by ISR rules... if that is what is followed... it would be improved stock...

Tom, thinking about it but we could go south with the CK-IIIs and race

If we have enough entries we probably will have a dash for cash race,we are keeping the fees low to help cover our costs for the event and get more local people to race, there are a lot of people doing the hillcross, should be a great event,we are trying to make a good impression with the ski area for the future
