Looking for some clutch belts that are junk... need to make some ski breaks for going down the hills. Let me know.

I still don't get it. I take it you carry them with you? Then put them on for a steep decent to help keep the speed manageable??

Yep, carry them with you. They are mostly used for dropping into something sketchy, where there is a flat spot at the top to stop. The spring snow can get mighty fast and it slows you down a lot.

I am thinking about making a chain and a belt set and testing them out. I will take pics if I do this.

One sled has chains, one has belts. Never compared side to side. I have always used a spare half belt bolted together.
