Looked like a lapper Kyle Chizholm tried to take out Reed or at least disrupt Reeds momentum when Reed was Battling with Stewart for the Lead. I belive it was on lap 13. Question is was it team orders or was he acting on his own? Or was Chisholm just being unexplainably out of control and stupid? I dont think Stewart needed the help. I'm not a fan of Reed or Stewart. I'd prefer they would both crash out. Will Pastrana race at Vegas? Will Alessi be a factor in the outcome of the final race? Can J-Law put on his big boy pants and race a full 20 Laps? Anyways, I just wanted to see what other peoples take on the Chizholm incident was.:beer;:beer;
 
take out. He saw the flags and let bubba pass easy.

to bad being suspended from Vegas doesn't give Reed any points. It's all supposition but Reed could have gotten the lead back in 4 laps had he not had to slow down.

Wish James would have said that Reed got jobbed, etc instead of just sayin well that's racing, etc.

Thought Reed did a good job of not getting to pissed, but I guess if you have The Man as the boss, you can let him deal with it.
 
I didn't think it was that big of a deal. A few turns after that, he was still only a second behind Stewart. He ended up loosing by 4-5 seconds. If Reed was the faster guy, he would have passed him back on the next lap.
 
It did look bad but did not slow Reed down, He got be yet again, JS is flat out faster, Reed has NOT beaten him once this year heads up. If JS did not DNF the first Race this would already be over. JS was already pulling away when it happen, He cought and passed Reed so to late to cry IMO.

You Really believe that?? I watched it 6 times in slowmo, It did not slow reed down and besides Reed has not cought and Passed JS once this year but JS has run Reed down many times so why would you thing Reed could have passed him back??

The lapper got in the way. Come on folks everyone in the stadium that was there new that. Lapper are suppose to allow the leaders to pass with out interferance. All the lapper had to do is slow down and get out of the way prior to going into the turn the lapper had plenty of oppurtunity to do so......Motocross races are won and lost in the turns.

To boot the lapper than crashes when Reed blew by him. Im sure Reed had a few choice words for the lapper.

Also since the track was very tight it didn't lend itself to speed 3rd and 4th gear track imo.

I bought $60.00 in rain pouncho's i didn't have to use them. That was good 2. :D

Reed suspended?! really? Where did you hear that?
I'm sure Reed lost his mental edge after the incident and thats why he faded but I'm not sure if he could have beaten Stewart. I think Larry Brooks and KC may have robbed the fans of one of the best battles of the series.

True, Reed does not beat Stewart, Stewart beats him self by crashing. Bubba did run Reed much cleaner that Reed did Bubba IMO. Karma
 
Don't know about the Reed JS case but dude that Lite final race finish was AWESOME!!!:eek: talk about nerve racking, the final with Reed and JS was cool for 13 laps then its was all over as far as a close race went.
 
I do not think chizholm lost it for Reed. Yes he may have slowed him down but after the next corner Reed was only 1 second back. Bubba was further then that back on Reed and cought and past him. Reed just kept falling further back.

So all in all yes Chizholm should have gotten out of the way but he did not hold him up for 6+ seconds. That Reed lost by the end. I though Reed was riding alot rougher in the corners then Bubba was.
 
If Reed rode as hard as he does the lap after JS passes him all race he might have a shot, he can't do it though. That pase is a little to much for him.

redline were you not watching reed hold bubba off for half the race? he was right there to go back around bubba. anywho vegas will be pretty cool for sure!

Hold up is a better word, Did the same thing manytimes this year. You never want to pass to early in the race and show where you are faster:light: Look at the race 3 weeks ago JS stayed behind him for 16 or 17 laps then passed and won by 7 sec.

Do you realy think Reed can Beat him straight up?? Never has all year so I don't know how ya could:confused:

yeah i thought it did slow him down...he was right on bubbas wheel for the laps before that. I know JS is faster but the way I was seeing the race, for once Reed was pushing his game to stay with him. Oh well should be a good Vegas.
 
I've been thinking about it, and I think Reed got in Chizholm's way. Chizholm clearly had the right of way, and I think Reed should be suspended for 1 race due to the fact that Chizholm could have been seriously hurt if he wouldn't have put on the brakes, and T-boned Reed. :D
