Saddles

I bought my rmk last year and I have been toying with the subject of getting a boss seat. This is my first sled and typically the machines ive seen have always had a pocket at the back. Im not concerned with shaving weight, but more of removing weight from my back pack. Basically Im asking if a boss seat is worth the money or should a person just invest in a nice tunnel bag?

BOSS

from the comments recently put on the forum regarding BOSS, I would take the tunnel bag....I went with the new Burandt bag, as it has a ton of room and I am looking to remove a bunch of stuff from my pack as well.

I had a previous generation BOSS seat and was less than impressed with the quality.

Ive had a boss seat on my previous pro rmk and there is not room for much in it. Only upside with the seat is easy to remove, and better sitting position.

underseat/tunnel bag, handlebar bag, skinz/next level windshield bag and a goggle underhood bag

I would guess all this is at least on par with storage if not more and cheaper with still a very clean look IMO

or like he said above just get that huge burandt bag

I've had multiple Boss seats, current one is on a pro, for two seasons now. I won't go into all the pluses and gripes, there are both, but the 13 seat is a real improvement, and dimensionally, quite similar to the Boss on the pro. I would try the stocker first, and there are so many can and bag options now, you will find a combo for you. With the underhood goggle bag, new windshield and bar bags, and tunnel bags (I also run mountain addiction cans and bag), you will have as much flexible space as you want.

Make sure and keep ALL your avy and survival and comms on your body. You can keep extras on the sled but your basic load should always be on your back.

I've gone to an under seat bag for this year too, debating a handlebar bag too. I just want to have the things like camera, tools, goggles, all stored somewhere other than my backpack which gets pretty loaded up.

I've had boss seats on three sleds now and I've always liked them. I'd highly recommend them. On my Pro im trying a WRP seat with extra 2" height and really like it. Firm but also comfy. I don't understand why none of the 4 manu's can get the fo density right -- all four make them too squishy, even on performance sleds. But that's one of the great things about boss seats -- they are stiff foam. Anyways, both are nice. I wasn't happy with the stock 2012 pro seat at all.
