Well boys its a sad day. Had to part with the old girl today. Was a 06 rmk 151 with 600 miles. It had 9inch big wheel, 09 body kit vents, she will be missed hope i didnt screw up. But I had $5000 reason to do it. I should have my head examined thinking about a new 2010 dragon 800

good luck sounds like you are jumping from the pot to the frying pan to me :face-icon-small-win

Yup, me too. Now instead of having a paid off sled you are $5000 to 7000 short of having a new sled and then if you want to improve anything on it that is even more money.:face-icon-small-sho

I snowchecked an 08 dragon and have had no problems with it. Has 3500 miles on it and my wife rides it now. Has been a good sled. The 10's had improvments over the 08.

If you got $5000 out of a mostly stock 900, I'd say it's not a sad day at all. I love my 9, but even with all the extra parts I have, I think it would be tough to get any more (if that much) out of it! Good luck with your new one :)

Congrats! X2 Hundo, the '10 rmk is a blast to ride, the key is make the most of what ya got!

True, if you haven't sunk a lot into it yet and you got $5000 you did good on the sale.

Not a Pro ??

So you bought a 2010 Dragon not the 2011 Pro.

Wow I almost did that, I might but a 2012 Pro 800 163.

But then again the Big Dog 166 still shows em up in the Steep and the Deep.

new

I almost pulled the trigger on a 2011 assault. $3600 more dollars wasnt worth it to me. I feel ill be happy with the weight saveings. I am sure going to miss the torque though. I only had had about $4k into my 900 and rode it for a season and a half. It was a very good sled never left me out in the cold. But as the great kenny roggers says. You got to know when to holdem.... know when to fold them.... know when to walk away,,, no when to ruuunnnn.
I felt it was time to run. Got a 4 year bumper to bumper warrenty on the 2010 for 600 dollars. So I spend $3500 more go up to a 2010 model. get a lighter better chasis. down alittle in horsepower but have a 4 year warrenty. I figured my 900 would need pistons this summer so there goes $600. I do miss the old girl already though.
