RX Warrior

2004 RX Warrior that I would like to put more track under for off trail riding in southern Utah mountains. Can anyone advise on how long a lug I can run before changing to 8 cog drivers from the 9?

Any experience with after market track/suspension suppliers would be great too. Having difficulty find RX Mountain (for parts)that isn't completely trashed and my Warrior has almost no miles on it.

Thank you, Jim

A 2" track will fit with 9t 2.52 pitch drivers. I know, cause that what I ran on my TRX1. Not much clearance thou. All 4 cylinder yami's are the same with respect to were chaincase, drivers, etc are located. Now I have gone to 7t 3" pitch drivers with a 2.5" track. I put a 151 track on a Warrior yrs ago, sure alot better in the deeper snow than the 136. You will have to remove the tunnel protectors that are on the bottom side of the tunnel. Best bet would be get hold of Tom Hartman in western Idaho. Search for Hartmaninc online, he is been supporting Yamaha for close to 30yrs.
