The old man purchased a 12 Switchback Pro R this fall. All the feedback I got said to put something on it to protect the front heat exchanger. This is what we came up with: Basically its the Polaris Brush Guard plus an aluminum diamond plate we riveted to the back side of the guard. Looks decent and should protect the heat exchanger quite well, while still allowing decent air flow to the exchanger

and mounted on the sled
after we get this thing through some brush and so on I will post a report, seems like it should work, the pics actually dont do it justice, it looks like it actually belongs when you see the sled
there is still some exposed cooler, air flow should still come off the upper portion of the nose cone as well
if we find cooling issues it will be reworked, I don't for see it though
