Running Pods in the Powder

Got a few older sleds that are running pods.. Triple pipes and first hit of POW and there is a Bog from the FOG. Any suggestions other than taping off the vents and cutting out alot of the air that it gets??

find some tubing and route the pods to the outside of the sled where they can easily be cleaned off while riding, or put the airbox back on

Is the bog from the pods or from the pipe getting cold?

Run pods in deep powder all the time, never had this happen. Need more info. Where are they located? do you have a snorkel kit or pre-filter fabric on them?

no prefilter stuff it isnt the snow causing the problem. They are raised on snorkels.

When the powder hits the pipe it creates a fog under there and it bogs until the steam clears out.

Insulate your pipe.
