Running motor w/out clutch

Will it hurt anything? primary clutch off while running the motor.

The clutch is the harmonic balancer for the crank. It is generally not recommended, but I have done it without issue.

I could barely pull mine much less start it! You dont realize how much that clutch weighs until you take it off! I would imagine it would be fine though if you can get it going. Makes me wish they made lighter clutches, would definitley make these engines more responsive!

have run them with out it, but that may explain the super hard to pull over issue i had.
