Running ice age khaos rails with 3" extroverts

I'm putting a different setup on my sled (longer shock eyelet, longer track) so need some rails. Do the ice age khaos things hit 3" avids or do I need to cut the tips?

Yes they will hit, you can cut them or have ice age machine them when you order the rails. Also run the ice age 2 wheel anti-stab kit with two limited straps. I'm basically running the same setup.

I'll ask ice age if they know how much to take off. If not, do you know?

I guess I could switch drivers but polaris 'stock tension' sucks.

Basically replace your limiter strap cross shaft with the anti stab.

cut right in front of that.

stupid question: is there any point to buying the khaos rails at that point if I'm just cutting them? Is the bend further down still necessary if I'm dropping the skid?

I’m running oem pro rails with khaos geometry / anti stab.

no issues.

highly recommend the mtntk bulletproof anti stab.

literally the toughest piece I’ve seen. (In a location that sees a lot of abuse)

nothing against the ice age but put them side by side and the ice age looks like a toy. ?

I'm assuming you guys with ice age khaos setups had to drill out the tips to get the antistab kits on? Itty bitty holes for the tips exist but nowhere near big enough for an antistab bolt


In other news, a 'long' walker evans eyelet seems to create the same length shock as a stock khaos one

Both correct.

the MTNTK anti stab uses a 7/16” bolt. ?

Just went for a shakedown ride. Something's hitting my drivers, I think it's the bigger diameter ice age antistab wheels. Gotta pull it in and check.

I already pulled the skid, cut them and got it back in.

Rage work goes pretty quick I guess.

Still not stoked I had to do that, at all.
