Running Boards

has any one tried the Lincoln County Custom boards???

I haven't tried them but I got a nice up close and personal look a them this last weekend. Troy has done an awesome job with them. I am would be leaning towards those boards over anyone else's right now.

did it look like they add alot of tunnel support been looking at them but tough to tell from the pics they have of them?

I had 4 days worth of riding on my stock boards and the outer rails broke, the only thing holding the boards together was my FeetHooker boards. That outer stock tube from Polaris is what fails. I like to jump alot and by no means am I hitting "movie quality" jumps", maybe I am just too big #250 geared up. I replaced mine with a set of '12 tubes and if these fail, no doubt I will be putting Airframes or some other stronger aftermarket replacement on my next sled.

troy have gone through a couple different proto's and now found to what he believe works the best. alpine got a huge dumping of snow over the past week n a half and the boards have been doing great! a handfull of buddies are running his boards with great results.

troys got some new boards that arent out yet that are still being tested that have the outer lip on them. so you cut the stock roll over off and the new boards actually roll up over the outer bar and rivit to it. really really stiffens up the outer running board tube.

They look to add some good tunnel support. I wish I could say from experience, hopefully soon. They ones I saw were the ones that wrap up around the outer bar. I think that was one of the highlights to them and if I were getting a set I would make sure that's the style I got. Troy met us on the hill later that day and it was deep. Had some buddies that were running better boards and the LCC boards were cleaner than theirs. The four of us that were there that day all said we would like a set over the better boards. Not that the better boards suck, but the tunnel support and then wrapping around the bar just makes them that much better.
