Run time for Propane heater in tlr?

How long will the average forced air heater in a enclosed trailer run on a 25 gal propane tank? Trying to figure out how big a tank to run.I know bigger is better but there is only so much room to install it properly.

I'm talking about the RV type that vents the combustion to the outside. Not a contractor type on the floor unit.

Holy cow I can get 2 - 3 days out of my little 5 gallon one. 25 gallons would last me a week or more.

Thank you, thats what I needed to know.So I don't need a big tank. 10 gal sounds like more then enough even for a long trip.

i have a 27' trailer with no insulation and a 34000 btu furnace -10 celcius will last 3 full days. ihave 2 30 lb botles up front

It's going to depend on whether you run a thermostat or not, outside temps(if you have a t stat), how big the trailer is, how it's insulated, etc. We run 25 and 30 lb in ours.

I have a 24ft non insulated trailer, installed an Atwood 34000 BTU heater in it and mounted a 14 gallon motor home propane tank under the trailer. I can run it for about 90 hours or more depending on how cold it is. I think I have only filled it up twice this year and I run it for about 30-45 min before we unload then start it up when we get back to the trailer and it usually runs for 8-10 hours after we load up to melt everything off and dry it out.

I have a 25ft 34000 btu no insulation 7 gallon tank probably run it for a couple hours total each time out then a couple hours at home after and have 5 trips on this tank not sure how much is left but its gotta be close to out.

Cowboyup tank size

How big is that tank and how far down does it hang. I have a tank about like that but was concerned it would be too low under my trailer.

If I remember right it is about 12" in diameter, it hangs down below the bottom of the trailer but is above the axles probably a good 4", I mounted it between the axles because the axles should always hit something before the tank ever would.
