Rum

Hop on down the alphabet a little to W. Try a little Jack, maybe some Crown or Black Velvet? Nothing says good morning like Patron & OJ. Slip into a little Crown & apple Pucker after lunch. Baileys, Kahlua & Crown makes for a stupendous afternoon. As evening rolls around zip it up a little with Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, OJ, 7-Up, and a splash of Greandine. Wind it up with a nightcap of Shakers Vodka on the rocks with a lemon peel. Punch out, put the time card in the slot and look forward to tomorrow:D Yep, litreship has is priveleges.

Shakers is the right stuff!

Who's up for bloody Marys in the morning?

Have you ever had 2 buck chuck?? I gotta tell ya, it taste more like a $7 bottle of wine!!!:D

Never heard of it. I prefer the cabs and a few Merlot. Don't care much for the white wines, penoit etc. I love aged rare steak with Silver Oak, Don't care, someone could mention another drink to accomodate it but to me there is nothing better. Unless you follow up with either Pecan Pie or Chease Cake with a shot of Dewers Port Wine.

What's your recipe 'Festo?

I must fess up that I buy the mix pre made. (Hot hot hot)
Add Shakers & a shot of Clamato, dash of worcestershire, fresh ground black pepper, & slice of motherinlaws homemade hot pickle.
Chase with cold beer.

Dang, my mouth's watering & my pecker just got hard!

You use that to stir it?~LOL!

Try some cranberry juice with it. It goes good with voka in tha a.m., a few beers in the afternoon, then switch to whisky in the evenins. And no i'm just a weekend warroir, honest..................lol :beer; :beer;

appleton estate extra is my favorite, it's aged 12 years. if you want to try something really good try and find appleton 21 in the blue lable, just make sure you drink it straight. WOW, it's for special occasions only, to expensive to drink all the time.

I'll keep my eyes open! Just finished a bottle of Appleton VX last night. How much are we talking for the blue label? do I need to start saving my change?

A second on the Cruzan!

If you're looking to recapture that island feeling, Cruzan can take you back there (or make you want to go). I have a bottle of the single barrel estate staring at me from the cabinet right now. I just did a search and found this site with a write up:
http://www.refinedvices.com/Cruzan

They have the 30 year Appleton on the home page.

As far as the wine situation, if you like Silver Oak, you should try Cakebread. You can get a great cab cheaper than the SO, and if you go for the Benchland or Three Sisters you'll love them. I prefer the Cakebread to Opus, Silver Oak, or any of the others in that premium price range. Not to mention they provide a great winery tour!

I believe my father paid 90.00 for it on his way back from the dominican, and that was a lot cheaper then it was at the factory he toured. you can read up on it at their website.

gottcha! Just read about that 30 year on the vice site(which is pretty nice, I had to bookmark it). That 30 year sounds nice, to bad I won't be able to land one:(

Tatoo is a really good rum if you are a fan of the Captain's products. The Captain and I have been hanging out ALOT lately. I keep telling the mrs. that his ship is dry docked and he can't leave for a while. Some of my favorite mixes for rum:

OJ (morning)
Cherry Coke
Root Beer (sounds weird but good)
Dr. Pepper

The Tattoo you can almost drink straight as it tastes alot like Dr. Pepper. So I guess if you like Dr. Pepper you'd like Tattoo. Enjoy!

have you got a little captain in you?

for you boys that like morgan try salior jerrys spiced rum tasted better and smoother than morgan but twice as strong watch yourself will put you on your @ss really fast if you dont watch it

I usually drink Appleton's Estate butonce in a while when I can find it, I like to buy a bottle of Pussers Navy Rum.

Anyone ever try this rum??

"The Máximo Extra Añejo is on sale in Toronto's Summerhill LCBO for a mere $2000 CAD."

Sounds a little rich for my taste.
