I have a 440 pro X fan for my son, and I was doing some clutch work and I had taken the bolt out of the primary and found 2 Rubber O-rings behind the head of the bolt, What are they for??????

keeping the crank threads from becoming corroded? Is there a shelf, groove built in there for an o-ring or have they been compressed flat?I haven't seen this on any Poo i have taken off.

They are there to center the bolt in the clutch. They keep the bolt on the centerline of the crank axis.

Rubber also helps eliminate harmonics that break long bolts.

Thanks good info, was scraching my head. I left them on figured they where there when we got the sled, so leave them.
