Had my 1000 out for the first time this year after a bunch of mods and repairs. It has never ran so well. I had to weld my rear cooler back together since it cracked in the rear weld seam on the last ride last season. I bypassed the front cooler and installed a 08 XP thermostat. I routed coolant around the perimeter of the sled and through the rear bumper. That really works well to melt the snow off of the running boards. I added 10 inch risers to the bars and put on handguards- rolling over F's those up good. I removed the inner and outer airbox and installed Pod's with outerwears. No issues in the powder yet but we shall see. Then I leaned her out with the boony box and I finally got those CS twins to work flawlessly, they never ran like I felt they should. I also relocated and replaced the pickup pump like everyone says to do and my intermittent bog disappeared. Needless to say I cant wait to get out on it again.
