RPM's with RKT drop-ins

I just had rk tek 800 drop in kit done on my sled, followed step by step what Kelsey says to do and my sled freaking rips! 8500 RPM no problem on clicker 3, I think I'm gonna add a little pin weight. Follow the advise when doing rk tek and you will be more than pleased.

What you guys are missing (IMHO) is that an aftermarket motor set-up like the rkt dropinkit may change the power curve. Meaning that the hp increase that is there at 8400 is not there at 7900, due to port timing being drastically changed. Kelsey knows how to tune these, so listen to him

also a happy customer. im having absolutely no problems hitting 8300 to 8500 WOT in powder, it runs very strong and my ski's rarely touch the snow.

I was happy with my rkt 827 in an 06 rev.
Oil choice- synthetic worked great
can choice- hps worked great
air intake- k&n pods worked great
all against what kelsey reccomends i guess i had a lemon cause it worked very well with this mix! Oh and i had a team clutch! by the way when i bought it, it was running blue marble went to amsoil than redline. Also had a skinz ultra q and i bought a hps.Finally i had the stock air box on it and put pods on. With that being said if it was'nt running to potential with these changes i would have taken them off.
