rpm is low

My 09 800 dragon is barley getting 8000rpm on a good day, running with the new engine update. Can someone tell if i gain some back by making some clutching changes. thanks

Clutching is key, search the "sticky" thread at the top of the IQ forum, there are some good threads. PCV is a nice addition but not necessarily required. I can give you my specific set up but I'm running the SLP pipe package and it may be slightly off. If your thorough with your clutching and gearing homework you will get a set-up that makes you smile all day!!
If you write back with a few other details like track size, mods, your weight, elevation and typical riding style you will get better responses here too.
