rpm for a o9 nytro xtx

I have an 09 nytro xtx and I was just wondering what rpm I should be running at wto. the sled is stock. I will be putting on a MBRP can. The sled works great on hard pack but it seems to lug in soft snow. I did notice that the belt sits lower than the top of the secondary. I was also wondering if i can put a 4" riser with out changing anything.

i think its 8700-8900rpm, and i found dropping the driver size one for a little lower gearing or drop a gear size i have a shorty with 2inch paddles works great in the deep stuff

Dont waste your money with a can, buy and Excell full exhaust system and either ulmer cluching or drag n flys clutch kit, the ideal rpm is 8800-8900 i have 2200 miles on my XTX with this set up and i love it, I can run evensteven with all the apexs. The Excell rocks!! I also got a Rox 3.5" riser on with no problemo.

the Excell / drag n fly seems to be the most popular set up, did you use a pivot or just a riser block? I think I am going to try the dragon n fly's I have to do something I only hit 8300 - 8400 rpm in soft snow. thanks for the help.

Thats what i would go with is excell. i have a skinz ultra q silencer on my 08 nytro rtx and it sounded good at first then the sound quality went down. If i was going to buy another exhaust again nothing else but excell would be on my sled. They do a great job with there product. Girzzly 7 is my uncle and yes the 3.5 in riser is a rox pivot riser.
