Rotating Turbo Housing

how do you rotate the housing on the turbo to adjust the angle on how the charge tube would connect? does that make sense to anyone? currently the air outlet is pointed almost straight up, but I would like to rotate it "left" towards the motor a bit.

On a Garrett there are six bolts around the intake side of the center section. You can loosen those bolts and rotate the intake housing to what ever clock position you want.

I think most work the same way. Not sure about Aero?

Easiest way if you have a large snap ring pliers there is a ring on the inside. squeeze ring and rotate, you dont have to keep pulling the turbo off to get to the back bolts then. I went to harbor frieght bought a cheep needle nose 90deg (about 4 bucks) and ground on the tips and it works great.

not sure if I will be able to rotate it like I wanted since my turbo is internally gated, it has a bracket for the waste gate actuator I might have to relocate or figure out how to change to make er work...but at least now I know how

as long as you turn it in 1/6th turn increments the bolts will line up with the bracket
