Roommates?

In looking to move outwest to ride and work for a year. What do you all feel is the best way to find roommates? Obviously a roommate is key because rent cost less and whatnot, and if they ride that's a bonus because I would already have a riding partner. Anyways, has anyone went through this process? What tactics did you use? Any websites or does anybody have anyone in mind I could contact? Really Any help is appreciated, thanks!

If I were to do that, I'd travel out, find the area you want, line up a job. Get an idea of renting costs in the area and create a solid plan before actually moving. Rough it in a hotel for a couple weeks when you finally make the move and start working. Depending on what work you are doing, you're bound to meet people through work.

I spent a couple months in Breckinridge before for a on job training, but was lucky to be able to stay with family. Met a lot of people who just up and moved there, and most of them struggled BIG TIME.

Better question, might be. What non-resort town has the best riding near it?

Somewhere you won't need a roommate, could maybe get a real job, and more than likely up your odds of getting laid.
