roller secondary for a n/a apex

what have you guys. or gals, been running for a roller secondary other than a team roller. i had one a 700 triple i built and it rocked. i tried one on my attak and my apex mountain and just couldnt get a set up i liked. i lost alot of top end on the attak and didnt gain anything in the mid range. what has been working and is reliable. i mainly want info for the apex on what you are running for a roller. thanks.
