Rode Blewett 2/28 any one recognize this ridge?

I took my family down the Naneum/Wilson trail, east side of Table mountain on Sunday. Most of the area we rode was untouched. I think the left side of the pic is the back side of Mission Ridge, does any one know?. I would have loved to keep dropping thru the trees heading in that direction but didn't want to put my kids in a bad spot.

Right side of ridge(south). It was hard to tell but it looked like power poles on the top of this side.

Yep, Mission Ridge on the left and continues over toward the Clockum.........You can drop down thru the trees in some places, not others. Drops you into the Naneum drainage; 1,500 feet lower, so you quickly run out of snow - Don't plan to get to Mission Ridge this way.......They used to run the groomer down into that area, but quit as it's part of the City of Ellensburg watershed area.....No vehicles allowed in the summer, not sure about the winter....

Thanks L.C.E, I have a friend in Eburg that took me up the Coleman a few years back, we came up the back side of the Mission ridge looking down on the lifts, fun area, the drifts there were a blast. Looking at a map is the area below my pic the Beehive reservoir?

Can you get to mission from table mountain area? I would love to find another watering hole. I come up from reecer/wilson creek area. Will be up this weekend if anyone will be heading in that direction..

Beehive is to the north of Mission Ridge Ski area, so it would be just over the hill on the left side of your pic...

Can get in the area by heading out past Haney Meadow and keep going east. That actual road comes out at the Beehive Res just north of the ski hill....

That's good to know... I may have to try that next time were there.

This is the first year I have really spent any time at riding out of the Blewett snow park. Two weeks ago my son and I rode past Naneum meadows to the end of the groomed trail and continued on as far as we could go with out dropping into a large ravine on my right. It was socked in that day so I couldn't get my bearings straight.... I would be nice to know the lay out of the area better.

If you look on a good map...look at the point where High Creek goes into Pearson Creek. A bit south of High Creek on the 3517 road (I think).....you go down a small hill on the 3517 road where you can get thru with just about anybody. IF you pass the high Creek Hunter camps on the right you went too far.
Thats how we used to get between the clockum and go to mineral springs for dinner and then night ride back. After the last bit of logging in there you need lots of snow as you will be virtually in the creek bed for a short ways. IT can get pretty tore up in there if not enough snow...too many thaw freeze cycles with the low elevation.
