Road Ride on Mesa (soon??)

Hey all-

Anyone up for a road ride when the Mesa is ready? It is looking like another 1ft / 1ft 1/2" on the way soon!

Yeah, but can I ride my old sled? You know, kinda like using your rock skis when you take that first trip to Powderhorn?

My new 2014 is staying in the garage for awhile yet. First elk season you could have ridden the Green Mountain trail on a sled easy enough.

The Mesa is getting pounded, Snotel is looking good. Working on Black Swans sled tomorrow. I'll be up there Thursday if I'm not working.

Which snotel do you guys use for the mesa? Mesa lakes?

We primarily use the Park Reservoir Snotel. It gives us a much better idea what's on top than Mesa Lakes. Although it's not reading snow depth at the moment the total amount of moisture today is promising.
