RMK vs. Dragon

dragon has single ply track, dragon doesnt have the front tunnel cooler, dragon has no bogie wheels, comes with ice scratchers, w/e's shocks all the way around, wave brake rotor, pro taper bars, controls are on the console, iqr reverse button on the bars, different hood colors and decals, different sway bar set up, different (lighter) lower a-arms, and i think thats about it

RMK= better value. I'm sure I'm not alone when I tell you that I've pretty much swapped out all of the so-called "Dragon upgrades" for better products. If you're that guy then spend the extra on those parts after you buy the RMK.

In addition, I prefer the controls on the bars rather than down on the console, but I do like the 600RR reverse button better! :-) You can upgrade the a-arms and sway bar after your first couple of rides and bend the stockers too. You will save money in the long run either way.

agreed. my sled started out as an 09 RMK 800 not a dragon... i dont think the dragon model is worth the extra money... especially when everything gets swapped out for better parts anyways

I agree,I bought a standard RMK and upgraded all the shocks to ones that are much better then the dragons. Even after all the upgrades I still had less invested into the RMK then what the dragon would have cost.
