rmk dyno sheet

i've searched to the end of the internet and cant find a dyno sheet for my sled. 2008 rmk 700. i've found guys theories or what they think is the best rpm for peak power but i'd really like to see the hard evidence. right now i'm pulling 8350rpm and i think i may be over shooting a little bit. i'm going to tune the clutch to bring it down a bit but then again its me thinking its pulling harder or not. who knows, one day maybe it seems better and one day not. Polaris says 8250rpm + or - 200rpm and to me that seems like a huge spread. the way these sleds make HP 200 rpm could be a significant % of total HP. would really like to see a graph of what these sleds actually pull and at the different rpms. i've collected a lot of clutch tuning data but this is the only thing i need to really get a sweet set up for my sled. thanks guys

Are you talking running RPM of Max RPM? My thinking is that you will get more performance at 8100 (running) if you are stock depending on a few other factors. I have an SLP pipe and I'm shooting for 8300 at lower elevations on the flats, and around 8100 in the snow at higher elevations.

Out of curiosity what setup are you running, and what altitude do you run?

im talking about peak HP rpm. so i guess thats what your calling running rpm. i'm currently just running lower gears 19:42, but i'm just getting into clutch tuning and i'm going to be trying a few different clutch combos. thats why i'm wondering what rpm i should be shooting for to make peak HP. i normal ride low elevation like under 1000' and thats where i'm pulling 8300-8400rpm

I'm with hardhat32, your RPM is to high, 8100-8250 is stronger. I can't ever remember seeing a dyno sheet, just a lot of info from the engine builders on this site.

thanks guys, i'm pretty convinced i'm over shooting the RPM as well. Like i said before it seems to be the concensus among everyone what the best RPM is but still wanted to see an actual sheet. No worries though. i'm gonna change a few things and should be down to 8100-8200 no problem.
