need help! i have a 2005 rmk 900 and the water temp gauge is reading error? i just put in new senson and still error. any ideas?

Do you have a multimeter? Test it. You can down load the 900 shop manual from somewhere in this thread.

I bet you got green corrosion in the plug in down by the hood hing or the one behind the dash

yea i checked the wiring from the sensor to the cdi and that was good. but after thy come out of thi cdi box idk what wires are what? .
i didnt see any corrosion. the wiring looks clean?

If you have a multi meter double check that the sensor is good. It should read approx. 2400 ohms at 60 degrees. If it is good I would double and triple check any connection to make sure it not loosing contact.

You dont need the sled running to check it, just unplug the connector set meter to ohms and check across the two wires.
