Rmk 900 166" Dragon From Sweden

The best thing you could do is send this to me and I will give you one of mine instead :face-icon-small-win

I agree with Dave... On the 900 (more so than on the 800's) the V-force do add some bottom end response... and on the 900, not prone to reed breaking.... completly different harmonics in the long stroke 900 motors.

Is this a god clutch kit for my Dragon 900 with slp single pipe, Vforce 3 and aftermarket airbox?
Helix 50-40/50-42 ER
Mtx 74+4g
Orange team spring 165-310
stock spring in scundary clutch

You need more helix than that... the stock red/black secondary spring is OK.. I found a bit better back-shift with the red/pink

What altitude above sea level, in Feet, do you ride at?

What belt part number is on your belt... for example 3211080 or 3211111 or 3211115 etc??

Have you completely read the thread on "know before you buy"??

Primary clutch should be checked out, balanced and made as "perfect as possible"
Primary spring, Polaris Almond, Weights 10-68 at high elevation above 1500m, 10-70 at 1000m to 1500m and 10-72 or 10-74 below that.
Secondary clutch, 66-44/42 Helix, Red/pink spring.

I ride from 0- 1000 m.
I have read "read before you bay".
I know 900 weeknes. But i realy wont a 900 166" dragon.

I really like the the 900's myself and think they are a great sled.

What belt do you run?

From 0 -1000m ( 0-3,300 ft)... you will have more power than most of us are able to get at 2700m.

I would gear it down to 19-43
Run the Almond POLARIS primary spring, with 11-72 weights, 66-42 helix with the stock spring (red/black) .

Note: The springs in the clutches should be changed every season... cheap way to get consistant performance.

IMO, Run ONLY the 3211115 belt... with that, you will need to have the clutch re-shimmed for that.

Make sure that the belt deflection is set properly.

With all the motor issues out there...you should check the crankshaft run-out and, IMO, get the primary clutch completly brought up to specification and balanced... the shimming for the new belt will be included.

Good luck
