RMK 600 -03 vs. Viper Mtn -03?

RMK 600 -03, Viper Mtn -03 or Summit -01?

Wich of theese three should you take?
I drive about 60% outside the trail.

Edit: Summit?

My wife has an '03 RMK 600 144 and it does decent off trail. East to throw around and feels very light. Comfy seat, decent ergos & big w/s. I've heard the Viper is a tank esp off trail but that is hearsay.

The Viper would be more realiable, and they do pretty good off trail, very easy to ride. Go with the Viper and you won't be disapointed.:D:D:D

viper

i have a viper and i just love it..they are very reliable and do very well off the trail also..i had a little bit of trouble getting it clutched right but once i got it, it was awesome. you won't be disappointed with the viper.

You can mod both of them and get a bunch more out of them. A 600 with a Carl's 660 kit is about the funnest sled I've ever riden.

The Viper with some porting and pipes runs a scalded dog.

The Viper is quite a bit heavier than the RMK though so it will be more tiring to ride and harder to sling around. Not as much of an issue if you are a big guy. But if you are under 200lbs I would say the RMK will be a funner all around sled.

Had an '04 600Vertical Escape, cousin had an '04 Viper Mtn and he couldn't keep up in the deep powder! Stock skid blows on the Yammi. I'd buy a 700Doo before the 8.

Can't go wrong with the viper, the motor will probably last longer than the chassis. I do agree that it takes a little more work to throw around the viper but especially with a set of triple pipes that sled will rip. Plus for the 40% of the time on the trail the yammi will be the most comfortable.

summit 8 = engine problems. you sounds relatively new to these type of sleds so get something reliable. summit 7, rmk 6, or viper are all pretty solid machines and should all be priced pretty low with the economy and seeing as the season is over for most of us
