RKT head v.s. Jaws twins + bd box v.s. Diamond s/skinz hood

Christmas is coming and I still havnt decided what first "major" mod I would like to do to my 05 m7. I would like to know everything there is to know about the mods i listed. (RKT head, jaws twins + bd box, diamond s/skinz hood) Ive already read all their website info, but i want to know some first hand user information. What was really good about em? What wasnt good? What was hard? What was easy? What it takes to install? COST? Tuning? Anything really? Just lookin for some last minute info. Could really use some help.
Thanks for readin.

Depends on what you want out of your sled. If you want pull and go, ride all day and not tinker then I would go with the head and good clutching. If you're a decent tuner and don't mind tinkering with set ups then twins and boondocker box will work too with good clutching. If you get the twins you will eventually get the mesh hood too. The head will be the best bang for the buck.

agree with bigjb, the head and clutching would be the best bang for the buck, cleans up the bottom end quite a bit. i tried the jaws twins on mine for a couple of rides but got sick of dicking with them, but my sled is carburated so its alot more of a task to tune them than pushin buttons on a efi box so i gave up. one thing to remember, i learned this the hard way, if your thinkin RKT head or Jaws twins do one or the other don't do both that particular combo will not work together.

I'm gonna say hood and clutching. Best bang for the buck on M7 is clutching, and the hood will let you keep your stocker nice while you thrash the mesh through the woods and roll it down the hill. Wish I'd done that (the hood).

Big bore is the way to go over pipes and fuel controller. It will cost about the same if you buy the pipes and controller new and the 800 will be far easier to deal with. All depends on how much you have to spend and are willing to spend in the future.

Hey guys,

I gave my m8 twins one last effort before I sold them and got great bd numbers and advice from Brent at Arctic edge. I am very happy with my setup for the first time. I completely agree with the guy that said that the rktek head does not work with the twins. I tried until Kelesy at Rktek told me that it was not going to work like my local shop said. Also gave up tuning with a pl box for twins. I could not get rid of the low end bog even with a regulator.

Cheers
