A friend of mine has a stock 2005 Rt1000 summit only a MBRP can. We have been looking into what RKT has to offer for the 1000cc motor.
I e-mailed RKT and he talked about head inserts, I guess that means new domes into the stock head
Anyway I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with RKT head upgrade for 1000cc motor.
RKT said there was no need for a fuel box
Also he is thinking about replacing the pistons, are stock best or not?
I know RKT have been upgrading pistons on the 800 motor
