what size the temp sensor hole is the sensor from my 02 800 is to small so i need a reduser or the temp sensor from a different year looked like it would be 1/4 to 1/8 pipe thread but the 1/4 is a tad to big to go in the head.
The temp sensor on my Rev is metric 12x1.5 yours might be the same?
Fwiw..in my situation I plugged the sensor hole(tapped it for 1/4x18 npt) and used the carb heat(ditched it) hole for the sensor(tapped to 12x1.5)...Ditched the Tstat as well(the relocated temp probe might interfere with it?).
