RKT 15 HP kit, anyone know details?

On the fence between this and the SLP pipe kit (or both, ha-ha), but wondering what octane this "kit" requires and what else it comes with besides a head.
No details really on their website.

Do they have a good "dialed in" clutching set up for it? I know better than to start screwing with a brand new (09) sled but just cant help myself. However I don't want to spend the season chasing the right clutching instead of just enjoying riding.

Wonder how that kit would run WITH the SLP pipe kit?

91 octane is needed with the kit it is a head and a extra thick base gasket the head is cut different so it can drop in the jug to keep the comperssion upit works good it is a cheap port job and a head the base gasket raise ports

I went through the same thing last spring.

I really like what Kelsey and Brian are doing with their porting. It has a great reputation and may make more horsepower than the SLP setup but, when you start adding pipes to the equation, things can get murky. I believe the Speedworks 900 big bore pipe would be the one to get with their head and porting work but, it was still in flux last spring.

SLP on the other hand, basically has packages. They come with clutching specs with each package for your elevation. Here's the instructions for their pipe only. (159 hp)

If you like what the pipe does for you and want even more, there's the performance edition package. Here's the instructions for their performance edition package. (169.4 hp)

My advice, don't mix vendors for engine related components. Buy one vendors line and stick with it. If you get the RKT stuff, stay with their recommended products. Same with the SLP stuff.

Best of luck
