Hello,
I still see there's nothing new on their website, despite January being half over, but just wondering if anyone has any "inside" info. on the 860 kit from RK Tek???
Thanks in advance,
Glen
Kit has been delayed due to lack of snow.. It must get tested in the harshest conditions in order for it to be proven.. So, until the conditions change, it is not going to be released to the public..
Since there has been some testing on the Pro Drop In Kit and the 860 is a very close cousin to the drop in kit.. I am confident that the kit is going to perform very well and make great power.. But there are other things to consider with the overbore vs. the drop in kit(stock bore) that simply have to be tested...
I wish we had a better Winter as well.. Bummer for sure!!

Kelsey,is the drop in kit ready for sale?have you done low elevation testing on it?it is time for me to replace piston, but i dont want to go OEM due to the horrible clearance specs on these.are the drop in pistons cast or forged, are they tighter than OEM?
There is a lot of snow here in Alaska so if you need a tester? Just saying
If you have a 2011 Pro, We could probably work something out!! We have it in our 2012 Pro and I do have a 2011 860 cylinder ready to rock.

i am more interested in hte 858 big bore. Im just wondering how much of a gain you could get by punching it out such a minimal amount? are hte gains going to be from porting, head, and piston, rather than good old displacement? Would a guy send you his stock jugs or what do you do there?
