Riser on a rev

This is my first post hope its in the right area. Picked up a 04 rev summit 800 end of last season would like to do a couple things the main being adding a riser im 6'4 and a big guy would like to bring up the bars how tall can i go before i have to replace throttle and brake cables. Second is a can I ride the snowies here in wyo. so trail noise isnt a big issue a buddies got snowstuff on his but thats all Ive heard what are your preferences. As big as iam any weight loss on the sled is a good thing plus they sound so coooollll.

spend the money and get a decent can, the super light and loud ones will honestly get annoying really quick, im 18 and drive a truck with damn near no exhaust, and i think there annoying... try slp, dynoport, or hps

Welcome to the forum.

I have the Mahler risers on my REV. They are 2" taller than stock.
I know Darren makes them taller upon request.

Just do a search for the member digginsweatinswearin He is the one to talk to.

8 bolts per riser, unlike the 4 that fly and the other flimsy manufacturers make. Awesome quality and finish in his billet products.

Here is his profile.

riser and can

if you unbolt the stearing post you can roll the whole thing forward by drilling one hole towards the front. once you get it apart you'll see what I'm talking about. I am tall and dont like to do a lot of sitting and it helps. also there is a stopper that can be cut off and the riser will go forward too. Both these things will help I had to re-route the throttle cable but that's a piece of cake. Get a can though the stock one is pretty heavy and it will open up more space for your motor to get air.

Send a PM to Daveb on here.

He was the one that did the super tall riser.

I don't think you need to get anything longer, I have lots of room after going up 2 inches.

i have an 03.5 Summit w an XP OEM 8" riser & Pro Taper bars w 2" of rise on mine
no extensenions neede, BUT i did have to move the brake cable inbetween the oil resevoir and rope hanlde

Props to the smart 18 year old!

Real men don't give the greenies or the law a reason to shut down riding areas due to annoying loud vehicles. He's smart ... man cards have been returned with interest ;)

I second Digginsweatinswearin's risers nicest finish i've seen.
Here's a set of 8.25" with fly mini's for a totol rise of about 11"

If you find the brake line a little short the ones for the 2001 model summits (zx style) are a few inches longer and not bad price from the dealer.
I have that with student drivers custom throttle cable.
