riser on a 09 yamaha xtx

Does anyone know how high of a riser you can go without changing cables including the pivot adapter, any brand recomendations? thanks for any info.

I use a 5.5" riser on my 08 RTX, but that is as high as it goes with stock cables. I went with a 4-5.5" ROX Speed adjustable riser, and I am very happy with it. Also it looks great

3" is max for a block type riser, cuz has one on his and we re-routed cable and worked perfect.

i put a 3" on mine as well and i had to re route the throttle cable. the throttle cable would pull on sharp right turns.

My 08 Nytro has a 2" block and just today I added the Rox 3.5" pivot riser.

I was pretty surprised that I could go with both but there was plenty of stock cable length.

Adding the Rox enabled me to get a bit more height and move the bars forward quite a bit - exactly what I wanted to accomplish.

I think 3" is max on the XTX. We had to re route the throttle 4 times before we found the sweet spot!
