RIP THUNDER MOUNTAIN LODGE!!!!!!!

Lemonade

Hopefully the second good news after no injuries is that you have adequate insurance so you can turn this lemon into lemonade and rebuild it the way YOU want it instead of just adding and remodeling on an old structure that always seemed sketchy at best. Looking forward to that new bar!!! You might have to increase the price of a PBR dang it!

Good Luck! Let us know what we can do besides provide moral support. I know a few great subcontractors who are willing to work on the Grand Mesa and not charge you an arm and a leg for the privilege.

ps. - I wondered why your webcam quit - I was gonna complain to you about it, guess I won't now!

A few of us were lucky enough to get a ride in today, we stopped by to see Mark and show our support for him and TML. It was very very sad to see the complete devastation in person:face-icon-small-fro. Hunter, as usual, was there to greet us:D. From all of the Thunder Mountain Riderz we hope that you can rebuild bigger and better!

True words

Yes, as BOHICA says, utter destruction. It was hard to comprehend for me, having not ever seen the wake of a fire like this in person before, and I'm just a bystander. We wish you the best Mark, and like Smith says, we hope you rebuild bigger and better. Glad to see Hunter and the cat palling around, though the looked a bit lost. Best of luck and let us know if you need help.

Ryan

Mark, sorry too see what you have worked so hard on the last 5 years get destroyed. Hopefully you can rebuild it bigger and better. good luck, Bill

Well Felix, sounds like you will have to deal with the Chicago Boys in another season other than winter when we come out there to pound some nails! Hot tub repair expert says no worries, he has it all figured out for you haha.

Bad year for TML but keep truckin' ahead. You know how to get ahold of us if you need anything. Good luck

Here is what is left of a couple of sleds parked by the lodge. One is a Pro, the other an m sled. Crazy what fire can do.

So sad to see this! My wife and I have a reservation there for a few days, later in the summer.

We've never been to the area before....are there other restaurants/bars in the area that are walking distance from the cabins? We we SO looking forward to throwing down some drinks at that lodge after long days of hiking
