Riot x spindle

Polaris did 2 inches and it worked wonders compared to the pro but I thought they said the axys motor sat the same amount off the ground as the pro motor. You don't change anything if both go up the same. In doing this there will be no change to anti stab wheels or rail pressure. The only change will be ride height. Big win in my book. Don't know where the ride height works against you. That is a trial and err thing.

Tge spindles I have are from a 2019 ZR 6000R SX

is that a fact?

click on AMS, shows a fat spindle sled and says "only on Riot X" https://arcticcat.txtsv.com/snowmobiles/crossover/riot#model-riot-x-8000
Clarification of front suspensions.

not surprising cat would put wrong picture when you click on AMS "learn more" and look at the spindle on the sled in that pic...
was picturing an extended standard spindle, especially after that quote at the end.
must be the A-arms that are unique to the X. if they are getting the raised front end with normal mountain spindles. longer shocks obviously and straighter caster? even tho it says 27 degree caster...
caster def. looks straighter on the riot X than the alpha:face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-dis

I do like the look of the mountain spindle verses the “trail/crossover” spindle

Kinda interesting what polaris did on the kaos for 2020. Raised the front even more off the ground than the RMK. I would like to ride that sled back to back with a RMK and kaos and see how it really feels.

Yeah, 2" on the spindles. Not nearly as much on rear suspension. I measured my Axys vs my old Pro on distance from suspension mounting bolts and up to top of tunnel. Believe it is pretty much exactly 10mm.

But they also raised the running boards up a bit to give the overall taller ride.
Did not measure but don't think they mounted the engine any different.

Yes, that's the question. Is the Riot X spindle the same as the current mountain spindle? Or is the height taller than the 16 and newer mountain spindles?
They certainly look a lot more like a mountain oriented spindle.

EXACTLY WHAT MEASUREMENT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? I CAN MEASURE MINE TONIGHT. CENTER OF SKI BOLT TO TOP OF LOWER A ARM MOUNT?

Did you get a chance to measure your riot x to see if it is any taller then the standard mountain spindles?

Installed the Riot spindles on my King Cat, as I wanted to raise the front end to match the increased ride height from my Gen 2 Kmod skid. Had to make some spacers so the tie rods would clear the lower a-arms at full extension, and use different tie rod ends with a through bolt. Total cost was less then a 1/3rd the price of elevate spindles, the sled rides lighter, handles great, and has no ill effects.60157284075__0CE58872-2DCB-4ADB-A834-EBB5C2268E19.JPG
