Riding the ski areas?

Anyone know if the ski areas such as Stevens and Snoqualmie, Alpental etc. are fair game for sleds after they close for the year?
I heard a rumor that the resorts are on leased land and the lease runs out every year around mid April.

Thanks for the information --may get to ride this weekend--funny how work gets in the way:eek:

Summit West - last week. No one cares I was there.

There were several security cars, as well as some clean-up crews there. I was roaming around the hill between the two main chair-lifts for about an hour. No one flagged me down, yelled at me, waited by my trailer, or even flipped me off.

Check out the photo...

Race the ole single chair face? Maybe Bonanza run?? It would be cool to run all over Ski Acres/snoqualmie east!!

H20SKE...;)

I know from personal experience: That if you're on a dual-sport motorcycle, end up at the towers above Mission Ridge and want to get into Wentachee for lunch; the ski-resort people get all pissed off. Even when you're on their "service road" and sharing it with logging trucks that were heading into the area west of the resort!!!!!

Yeah but the difference there is the people from Mission think they own everything in eyesight! Just know where you are and know their boundries and they can't say nothin.

sled setup

Everyone who shows up at Summit West needs to have a 6ft fiberglass pole with an orange flag for visibility. Just like the rescue sleds / maintenance sleds have there. We will just be there practicing our rescue techniques.:D
