Hey a group of us are planning on maybe heading down to WC in a week since this weekends storm seems to be tracking that direction ontop of the last dump. Just wondering how the current snow conditions are down there or if we would be better of heading over towards silverton area...also any suggestions on a good place to stay down there that has parking for sled trailers. Any info would be much appreciated . Thanks

Feel free to call or text me for more detailed info 719-849-3168. We've had a few warm days but there is a lot of great riding still untouched as of today. Hopefully the storm continues to build. Highly recommend staying the Wolf Creek Ski Lodge in South Fork. They are very snowmobiler friendly and have plenty of parking. Call at 719-973-1900 or visit their website.

We usually stay at the Allington Inn in South Fork. Good trailer parking, free breakfast and pool/hot tub. Right off of the highway.

Next time you are in town, at least give the Wolf Creek Ski Lodge a call. They are just about directly across the road from the Allington and offer better rates.

Thanks guys...also was wondering what elevatons to clutch for down there and if there is a site that has a riding area map online we could look at to get a feel for the area before we come down?

Matt, it was cool seeing ya last night. Keep me posted on the snow. We will be there Thursday night. Save a little snow and tracks for me please. :D

Thanks Matt, I will give them a call before we head down next time!

By the way, is your place between Del Norte and South Fork on the south side of the highway? We saw a trailer with a Polaris wrap parked outside a log home/lodge with a fleet of about 10-15 sleds sitting outside. Just curious...
