Riding in March at Tog vs January

Have been going out to the tog-dubois area in Jan the last 7 years. Was considering changing to the first week in March. I would like some feed back on the riding differences between jan and march with regards to the amount of snow , temps, and how the snow is set up.

been riding tog for 15 plus years, march has more snow for sure, deeper base, snow conditions depends on temps, if i was coming from Illinois i would plan a trip mid feb to early march. There will be plenty of snow, and it will be that light fluffy stuff that we all love. if u hit the last week in march u can buzz down to the hillclimbs in Jackson, that is always a good time. anyway, you cant go wrong. Watch the snow report and plan accordingly. Have fun!!!
