I was wondering if any progress has been made with access into hope creek. Has anybody been in hope and how did they get in? I was planning on riding the edge of the reservoir until the causeway and then riding the edge of the road until km 55.

Heard there is now a large and very solid steel gate constructed across the road - yup riding the shoreline sounds like the only option. I still haven't been to see for myself, this is what I heard after last Saturday.
