Riding friends...

I am new to the forums as well as snowmobiling. I bought one to get out in the backcountry to enjoy snowmobiling and snowboarding. I'm not the best but dont' get the chance to go out a lot because my friends don't have one and don't want to double all the time. Just looking to tag along. I don't really know the area too much spent most of my time at Guardsmans but would let to experience other areas.

First things first.
Many of us wont take/invite a noob unless you have ALL of the necessary backcountry equipment-as in Beacon, Probe and Shovel.
On top of that you need to know how to use them. For real.

That said, getting to the big shots to snowboard is what got more than a few of us into sleddin'. My snow/splitboards tend to gather alot of dust nowadays:face-icon-small-win

I do have all that equipment, I have hiked the backcountry for a few years now, and have taken avalanche classes. This is my second year last year I had a friend who snowboards professionally so he was always traveling but when he was in town we'd go out. So i'm not a total noob. ha. I would just rather a group to go with on the regular.

What do you ride? My group and I ride the Uintas quite regularly. I think we are going to go out Saturday so you can probably tag along to test out the waters if you want.
