Riding conditions south east of Wolf Creek?

We are renting Sheepshead cabin off Park Creek Road (heading down thur) and I'm wondering what the conditions are like down that way. The ski resort show 48 in the last five day. Just curious if that snow made it to the east of the summit?

Im headed down to Sheepshead on the 17-18th myself. Id say the WC report is a fair indicator of snow. Prob less the farther away from the pass where the cabin sits. Check out sledcity.com and they reported 12" at Park Creek trailhead today but havent groomed since 1/24 but they have plowed the lot. Looks like more snow should be rolling thru this week. Let me know how it goes down there and Im sure someone in the area would have a better idea. Enjoy

I was there 10 days ago and the snow was horrible. Hadn't seen fresh snow in 3-4 weeks. Snow was like concrete. I bet they got a good dump this past week though which would make avalanche danger EXTREMELY high.

Just talked to Rich said the Wolf Creek Ski report gives a pretty good idea what's at the cabin. He also said we'll be the first group in since the snow started coming down on Thur. Gall was James on your trip? Think I saw a pic from your trip a bunch of sleds and dirt.

Excellent snow! Snowed Friday and yesterday it was snowing so hard at Tucker Ponds couldn't see crap.
Trails have not been groomed since last week, but who needs trails anyway......

Snow was great down there. The snow they got over the week based up nice so it wasn't bottomless fluff. Saturday we had a foot of fresh powder. The visibilty was never great so we stayed in the trees. Didn' t get on the top till sunday right before we left. Was a sh!t show geaten there and back. My 858 went down quarter of a mile from the truck on the way up then another sled lost a head gasket. But we still had a great time. If you go up watch your stuff out side of the cabin the fox is out and has no problem chewing thru a soft side cooler.
